What Tyres HQ is

Tyres HQ is an independent publisher of tyre information, guides and reviews for UK drivers. The site is for general information only. It is not professional, legal or mechanical advice, and it is not a substitute for inspection by a qualified tyre fitter or garage.

Tyres and vehicles vary. Before acting on anything you read here, check your vehicle handbook, the placard in the driver’s door, and where it matters have the car looked at by a professional. You are responsible for decisions you make about your own vehicle.

No guarantee of accuracy

We work hard to keep our guides accurate, current and properly sourced, and every guide is checked by a member of our tyre team. Even so, we cannot guarantee the site is free of errors or that it is complete or up to date at all times. Laws, standards and prices change. To the extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is” with no warranties of any kind.

Links to other sites

Where buying or fitting a tyre is the sensible next step, our guides may point to Tyres.co.uk, an online tyre retailer, as a place to do that, and we may link to other third-party sites such as GOV.UK, the DVSA or tyre manufacturers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the page it points to.
